Giancarlo's first
table design and the most
popular of the category it means the 'Sun' in Italian. Made with the C1
stator of a Pratt & Whitney JT8D engine, it can seat four
comfortably and may be used as a conference, lobby or dinning table.
This design was accepted for accession
at the Smithsonian Institute's National Air and Space Museum.

The 'Star' in Italian is a small
diameter table for office, lobby or
home made with a first stage fan disk of an Allison jet fighter
engine.

|

La Conferenza
|
Named
the 'Conference' in
Italian, it is the largest and heaviest item designed and crafted by
Giancarlo with the purposeful intent of preserving at least a
partial
visual of
the historic Pan Am airlines logo. Made with portion of
Boeing 707 rudder. Seats eight comfortably. The design objective was to make
a connection between the Client's company logo, a globe, and thus the
Pan Am
'world' painted logo held by the base tips of a pilot's
'world-wings.'

La Porta
|
|
The 'Door' in Italian is made from the
rear fuselage door of a
Fairchild C119 and it is intended as a medium conference table which
can comfortably seat 5 to 6.
Made with solid mahogany and finished
in natural tung oil; this table integraed AC, CAT5 and RJ11 plugs, and
fitted wtih an Ehternet router.

This table is made from a two
window portion of a Boeing 707 fuselage and was specifically requested
for holding stereo equipment; shown here in cherry wood with decorative
aluminum rivets and trim.
