Giancarlo earns his artistic license in the American West, where creative man-hours are embedded in the shapes of thousands of airplanes glimmering under intense heat awaiting their irrevocable meltdown in the desert bone yards of Arizona.
Similar to old prospectors spotting potential sites, Giancarlo delicately selects each airplane part that beams the brilliance of its engineered design.
Inspired to perpetuate their existence as the works of art they are, Giancarlo blends the splendor of each part with time-honored materials such as glass, metal and wood.
In the studio he refines his visualized piece, chooses harmonizing materials and begins to hand craft.
During this inventive process the part is renewed as elegant and distinct functional furniture... transformed, the airplane part now serves a new purpose.
The resulting alchemy is simply the best in aviation themed art.
